The original GLIDEARM which was created by Raymond H Yang was launched on December the 8th, 2015. GLIDEARM had originally hoped for a backing of $25,000 but managed to reach $35,987. Since its initial launch, the GLIDEARM has had many improvements and is now on its second iteration.
GLIDEARM II is almost ready to back on Indiegogo. The products boast a few cool features, including, a folding design which means it will fit in your camera bag, unlike traditional sliders which are generally very long. Its total length folded is 9.33″ but when using the GLIDEARM II it had a total range of 27″.
There’s also been a motorized module kit called the ez MOT module created for specifically it. The ez MOT module allows the user to move the arm automatically to create some pretty amazing time lapses. Below is a bit about installing and using the ez MOT module
