If you’re disappointed with the current line up of Canon RF mount lenses, you’re not the only one. Canon first introduced the RF system in October 2018 with the Canon EOS R. Currently, they have only 4 lenses on the market but over the next year, plan to release 6 more according to the new RF Lens Roadmap. Below is the list released by Canon.

- RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM

Did you notice something odd with one if the names of one of the lenses? That’s right it’s the DS. Canon is even planning to release a new feature on one of the lenses, the RF 85mm F1.2L USM DS, which is called Defocus Smoothing. In the description of the lens, Canon describe it as having “beautifully smooth, defocused foreground and background bokeh”.
